Kangourou Australien/Australian Kangaroo

De retour de vacances, j'ai pu acquérir une nouvelle pièce en argent produite par la Perth Mint et qui représente le fameux kangourou Australien. Il s'agit, en fait, d'une réédition en argent pur (99.9%) et en haut relief, d'une pièce en or déjà produite en 2015!

Cette pièce pèse 31.13 grammes pour 32.6mm de diamètre et 6mm d'épaisseur. Elle sera produite à 20000 exemplaires au maximum.

On y voit un kangourou bondissant au milieu de la nature Australienne, au crépuscule. Le design, réalisé par Wade Robinson (vous pourrez trouver ses initiales cachées en bas à gauche au niveau de l'herbe...), est magnifique et le haut relief fait bien ressortir les détails. J'aime aussi beaucoup la lune qui est très bien détaillée. Très jolie pièce à mon avis!

Back from Holidays, I have acquired a new silver coin produced by the Perth Mint and which represents the famous Australian kangaroo. This is actually a reissue in pure silver (99.9%) and in high relief, of the 2015 gold Austalian kangaroo coin!

This coin weights 31.13 grams for 32.6mm in diameter and a thickness of 6mm. It will be produced in 20,000 copies maximum.

It shows a kangaroo jumping in the middle of Australian landscape at dusk. The design made by Wade Robinson (you can find his initials hidden at the bottom left at the grass ...) is beautiful and the high relief brings out the details. I also like the moon that is very well detailed. Very nice coin in my opinion!
